Statement

I have always loved exploring different medium and working professionally in the theatre gave me many opportunities.

Although I trained as a painter, I learned how to carve marionettes early in my career.

Recent paintings and collages are from the Australian collection based on natural forms, colours and textures of the central dessert.

Felting is a technique I discovered whilst working in Alice Springs.

In addition to developing new paintings in South Australia, I will also be involved in the process of extending my range of felting by experimenting with mixed fibres and textures into textile hangings.
